    The blog is part of the homepage which can be accessed online as a means of sharing with users of the internet, which has the function to load the writings and images on any web page. Based on the functionality of the blog made the best means of students to publish school assignments given by the teacher. However it is still a pros and cons.

    Using a blog to collect tasks students have a positive side, as students could be more interested in the task because of the appearance of the blog can be replaced in accordance with the wishes of students, students can replace the type fonts, templates, and others. Different if writing assignments with the paper just monotonous. In addition students can publish their assignments anywhere though the students were outside the city.

    But it also has a negative side such as blogs are more expensive just to collect assignments compared to paper because it collects assignments with the blog requires tools like laptop/pc and internet quota. As we know not all students are able to have it all. Sometimes bad internet connection also hampered to publish assignments. It can lower the morale of students to collect their assignments.

    So, in my opinion collect assignment using blog is good enough because it's more interesting and easier to collect it, but we must consider the ability of the students.

ENGLISH DEPARTMENT of UNIKAL IS THE BEST STUDY PROGRAM

    University of pekalongan have experienced in the field of higher education for the past 35 years, since 5 september 1981 and until recently already graduated more than onescholar 6711 strata (S1) and 122 diploma (D3).

    Laughing is an expression of happiness that occurs spontaneously and could not been forced. We cannot force others to laugh with our joke, because everyone has a different sense of humor and it turns out that laughing has many benefits such as:

• Laugh can prevent stress and can improve the immune system so that it is not easy to make us sick.
• Laugh will make heart healthier because we laugh can train the muscles of the diaphragm.
• With laughs we can think more positive because the laughs can eliminate negative emotions.
• With laugh we can share positive energy to people who are around us.
• Laugh can burn calories as much as 1.3 calories per minute.
• Laugh can improve our mood is bad, like when we are sad to look at the cute things like watching a stand up comedy we can laugh, laughing mood we will change for the better.
• Laugh will make us longevity because we always think positive, no stress and be happy.

    A great many benefits to laugh for us, especially our physical and spiritual health, and that we get for free.

RUSUNAWA UNIVERSITY of PEKALONGAN READY INHABITABLE

    

    On January 27, 2016 the Minister of public works and housing Basuki Hadimuljono inaugurated rusunawa  (simple flats rent). the construction of rusunawa Pekalongan University  spent funds around Rp 10 billion to Rp 15 billion. Rusunawa located across the street from campus Pekalongan University.  

    Rusunawa Pekalongan University consists of 4 floors and has 50 rooms. One room in rusunawa Pekalongan University  there are two bunk beds, two wardrobes, study tables and bathrooms. Currently there are 13 students who will occupy the rusunawa Pekalongan University. Rents rusunawa estimated  Rp 700.000,- per month for a single room. Inauguration rusunawa it also welcomed by students, Agata Ratih, a student of  English department Pekalongan University said "the presence of this well because although rusunawa help students outside of the city".

"HOW ENGLISH BECAME THE INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE"

    About 100 countries in the world use English as a first or second language. Therefore we learning English so we can understand the talk of many people in the world. many of us who want to know why English became the international language, why not, Indonesia ,Javanese or Sundanese language?.

    If in the view of the ancient Roman history since we realized the need for a common language that can be understood by a lot of people known as the Lingua franca in its history the lingua franca had changed dressing each time so did the English language has a history long enough to become the lingua franca.

    There are two factors that affect the English became the international language the first are colonialism British, after the era of the industrial revolution the British Empire became the country with the technology and the most advanced military in the world these circumstances make England became the country with the largest number of colonies and made the language most widely in the world, then the second factor is derived from the 20th century, other English-speaking countries, namely the United States emerged as the country with the greatest economic power in the world, a very big economic power to force other countries in the world use dollars and of course communicate with English. 

    

    The phenomenon of globalization also strengthen English as an international language in the era of globalization many companies and foreign media like broadcast television , magazines, newspapers and others, as a result we often hear and see so make us accustomed to using English, United States of America also established offices in other countries, as a result we are learning English in order to work in the foreign companies that have large salaries, predicted English will still be the international language of up to tens of twenty years into the future, by 2050 india predicted that the world's largest country becomes a beat tiongkong , india using hindi and English as its official language, as a result of india can affect the strength of English as an international language.

    "COMBRO"

    Combro is traditional food comes from Bandung. The name of combro comes from the word oncom di jero which means fermented red beans cake inside cassava. Combro not only popular in Bandung but in other regions in Indonesia. Combro is snacks are often in serve with a variety of various gorengan. Combro more delicious if you eat with your family, and serve it with tea or coffee. Combro not only delicious, but also has a proteins, vitamins and carbohydrates. For those of you that want to make combro, here's the recipe combro that delicious :

Skin Ingredients :
1/2 Kg cassava, peeled
1/2 tsp coriander
3 cloves garlic
1 tbsp salt
Oil to fry

Filling Ingredients :
70 g fermented red beans cake
2 cloves onion
3 cloves garlic
5 seed chilies

How to make :

For Skin :

                
                     1. Cassava grated


             
                   2. Grill all ingredients in a mortar


             
                  3. mix well between cassava and all ingredients


For Filling :

                
                  1. Grill all ingredients in a mortar, add fermented red beans cake, crush a little bit and mix them well

         
            
                 2. Take grated cassava, make dough into balls, flattened. Put filling in the middle, and remake it in balls

           
           
                3. Pour the oil into the a wok, fry the dough balls until golden brown, drain, and ready to serve with a cup of tea. ^^

" KARANGANYAR "

    Karanganyar is one of amazing district in Pekalongan.

    Karanganyar is one of district in Pekalongan, the province of central Java Indonesia.Karanganyar have a mascot namely "tugu duren" that already famous from hundreds of years ago, which is the located in the middle of the way the intersection of Karanganyar. As for the confines of the district Karanganyar like east of the district is Doro, the south of the district is Lebakbarang, then west of the district is Kajen, after that the northern the dstrict is Wonopringgo. District of Karanganyar have the vast region 44,93 km, the amount of the village in Karanganyar is 15 village, like Gutomo, Limbangan, Karanggondang, Lolong, Pedawang, Pododadi, Legokkalong, Karangsari, Kulu, Banjarejo, Wonosari, Sokosari, Sidomukti, Kayugeritan and Kutosari.

    

    Karanganyar is one of the district that have strategic location because the location at 6 km away from the centre of the district of pekalongan. This region have the condition of the tropical climate. The location of the tourism sector in Kulu and Lolong, the result of the potential featured are the pool and a place for fishing, owned by the private sector. The results of the potential feature sector farming is durian.
